Alexandria Brewing Company grows out of a personal passion for brewing and a clear sense of purpose. Head Brewer Andy Reynolds first saw beer as more than a drink, it became a craft he wanted to study, refine, and build a future around. That path led him to the Siebel Institute of Technology, where he deepened his brewing knowledge and sharpened the foundation for what would become ABC.
Alexandria felt like the right place to bring that vision to life. It is a close-knit community where people still stop to say hello, and it carries personal meaning for Andy and his wife, Ann, whose roots are here. Together, they built Alexandria Brewing Company as a place grounded in honesty, good beer, and genuine connection.
That spirit still shapes the experience today. The brewery is family-friendly, rock-and-roll minded, and built around the idea that a local spot should feel welcoming, relaxed, and real. Integrity remains central, not only in what is brewed, but in how guests, employees, and the wider community are treated every day.

WHO BUILT
A big amount of who we are and where we are going comes from the generosity of our Kickstarter backers and the ability for our investors to see and believe in our vision. At the brewery, we will have a wall for backers who gave at a certain level. However, we want to recognize everyone who supported us (heck, some even backed us twice). All backers were entered in the order in which they contributed to the Alexandria Brewing Company Kickstarter campaign in their respective categories. These categories were determined based on the level the backer contributed to the campaign: "Rocking Backers" did not qualify for the annual beer bash; "Beer Bashers" qualified for the annual beer bash, but not for the soft opening soiree; "Openers" qualified for both; "Brick Layers" backed at our "ABC Brick" level or higher. Alexandria Brewing Company brings Cincinnati brewing tradition into Kentucky with house-made pours, a full bar, and a relaxed, family-friendly feel that welcomes all kinds of company. A partnership with Bender’s Pub Grub rounds out the experience with food, and the West Chester outpost carries that same spirit to another community. Inside, rustic-industrial details give the space character without stealing the spotlight.
