The New Normal

Hello,

We are getting ready to reopen tomorrow. In doing so, we have a list of rules and restrictions we have to abide by. We are asking for you to bear with us as we try to adopt these policies. The biggest change you will notice is our taproom. We are limited to 30 people sitting in the taproom at a time. Therefore we will be closing the backroom until we are allowed 100% capacity. We are asking that you call us for reservation if you want to dine in.

We have closed off a big chunk of our parking lot in order to provide you a place to eat and drink. We have limited outdoor seating. We ask that you bring a lawn chair with you if you want to hang out outdoors. Also, please feel free to bring a pop-up shelter if you want to avoid the sun or weather.

Regardless of where you sit, all households must practice social distancing of at least 6 feet apart. In other words, we will still be family friendly, we just ask that you sit 6 feet away from your friends. If you want to bring cornhole or another outdoor game to play in our parking lot, we ask that only people in your household play it with you.

The Rules:

  • If you are experiencing flu like symptoms or are running a fever, please do not come here.

  • We are only allowing one person in either restroom at any given time. Do not form a line in our hallway and please stay 6 feet apart from each other while waiting. Yes, people sitting outside can come inside to use the restroom. Please respect others’ six-foot bubble.

  • You must practice social distancing!

  • We prefer people to wear masks when they are not sitting. However, this is not a requirement.

We will have hand sanitizer out and available. Please use.

Below is the Governor’s orders for restaurants if you have some time and want some light reading.

Finally, I want to dive into the precautions we will be taking.

  • All of our staff will be wearing masks and gloves (PPE).

  • We will be taking our staff’s temperature as they arrive. We are asking all of our staff to take their own temperature before leaving their homes just as an extra precaution.

  • We will be spraying down all common surfaces with isopropyl alcohol on a set schedule.

  • All of our tables, chairs, and picnic tables will be cleaned and sanitized between guests.

  • We are not going to be offering receipts. Our system makes it available via email or text if you would like one.

  • We are asking that you use the televised menu and our website for our tap list. We will have a paper menu available upon request but we ask that you hang on to it until you leave and dispose of it.

  • We are using disposable plastic cups for all drinks.

I feel like there is so much more I want to discuss. In order to keep this from being more boring than it already is, I will spare you. The biggest thing I want to convey is that I am really looking forward to opening seeing everyone again. I know this “new normal” isn’t going to be easy but we will get through it together. Thanks for your continued support and understanding.

Cheers,

Andy Reynolds
