Carry Out Options

Hello,

I feel like I have blogged more in the past few days than I have in the entire existence of the company. First and foremost, we want to thank everyone who has come in for growler fills over the last few days. If your support continues throughout this mandatory closure, things will get tight but we should be able to sustain until we reopen.

I feel like everyone who has stopped in understands, but in case you do not, we have always charged growler fills the same as ordering at the bar. Our reasoning has been that we have always struggled keeping up with our taproom demand. The little we were able to send out here and there to our distributors were sent out so that others may discover our brewery. We have grown organically since opening our doors. We spend next to nothing on advertising because word of mouth has been our strongest source. We have been fortunate enough throughout these two years to have you book your events here, have your baby showers here, propose to your spouse here, have your rehearsal dinners here, have your reunions here, and, most importantly, share your stories with us. This, in turn, has built our brewery into the community center I have referenced in prior posts. Now, we are charging taproom prices on our growler fills to sustain (#RealTalk). I hope you understand.

Starting this weekend, we will begin selling bottles. A homebrewer donated a large number of 12 oz. bottles. His awesome wife did an amazing job of cleaning the bottles and removing the labels from them. We are using these for some of our lighter beers. We are asking that you please disregard the printed/laser etched “bottled on” dates that is on quite a few of the bottles. The same home brewer donated several six-pack and four-pack cardboard containers. Our plan is to slap one of our labels on these and call it good.

For a vast majority of our bottle beers, we will be offering “bombers” (22oz bottles). We have more of these as we were planning to use them for our anniversary bottle release of Saturn Ascends. As I have posted earlier, all of our events, including our anniversary are postponed. As of now, our goal is to have the anniversary celebration roughly around the time we can reopen our doors. We hope to really make this a two-in-one party, celebrating the end of this unprecedented pandemic.

As far as our Bomber Club from our Kickstarter campaign, we hope you understand that this round of bombers is open to the general public. While we believe all of our beer is special, our intention for the bomber club was to give you early access to what we would consider limited release bottles. If there is a beer that you want us to hold for you, please call, 859-694-6999 and pay over the phone. We are all about call ahead ordering to allow curbside delivery and prevent possible contact points.

Again, we can’t thank you enough for your continued support. I look forward to celebrating the end of this together.

Cheers,

Andy Reynolds
