COVID-19 More Updates

Good Afternoon,

You may have heard by now, Governor Andy Beshear announced that he is putting a forced closure of all bars and restaurants. This takes effect this evening at 5 PM. While we agree with the Governor's decision, we still believe that this has the potential to permanently impact Alexandria Brewing Company.

We are currently planning to provide beer and very limited hard liquor bottle sales via carry-out to you. We do have slightly over half of a pallet of bottles that were set aside for Saturn Ascends. At this point, we will be filling these bottles with our most popular beers instead of Saturn Ascends as all events at Alexandria Brewing Company are postponed indefinitely. This will include our St. Patrick's Day releases. We will also be offering growler fills. You MUST provide your own CLEAN growler for filling. We are unable to clean them for you as our staff has been told to stay home except for Brad and myself.

Please stay tuned to our social media for bottle release dates and a rough idea on how we see this working, curbside service vs walking into our location. We are even considering call ahead ordering. We will have logistics worked out soon and will update you when we know for sure.

As I have stated before, an unintended consequence of our little business is becoming a community center for Alexandria. Let’s do our best to keep our sense of community and treat each other the way we would want to be treated during this difficult time. We will hopefully see you on the other side.
